On August 25, 2018, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts incorporated the 658 Main Street Foundation as a 501.c.3 for charitable, educational, and cultural purposes. The Commonwealth states that the “purpose of the corporation is to provide and carry out the maintenance, repair, protection, preservation, and restoration of the exterior and interior of the historically and architecturally significant Fay Club Building.”
There is no doubt that our club is an “architecturally significant” building in North Central Massachusetts. The Foundation’s board of directors is made up of local business people, contractors, and concerned citizens who take their mission statement seriously. We will strive to raise the necessary funds to improve the Fay Club Building. Visit the foundation website here.
We are working hard to create a list of all of the repairs and improvements and their associated costs. Naming opportunities will be offered, and grant money pursued.
